Like most other organizations WLCI has been operating a traditional hierarchal organization structure for over a decade. The limitations of this structure has forced us to experiment with alternative structures, especially in the context of a service organization like ours.
One of the structures that was found to be most effective was the structure of a cricket team – where there is a captain, a coach and players. Teams modeled around this seemed to have higher motivation levels and perform more efficiently than others.
We have decided to work on this structure to overcome the limitations of the traditional hierarchy. This, we feel, will enable us to build a futuristic organization which will have the wherewithal to deliver on our vision 2020.
