Our admission process is a rigorous one which assesses the aptitude and eligibility of the student in order to maintain the standards of the courses offered and that of the College. Students are required to take the General Aptitude Test (GAT) and the Professional Aptitude Test (PAT) followed by a personal interview with a panel of experts. The tests evaluate General Knowledge, English language skills, IQ and Personality traits as well as the applicant's abilities for specialized areas. Applicants are judged at the Interview for their communication skills, basic knowledge of the course, clarity of thought and personality. Students applying for programmes in the School of Creative Arts must carry a portfolio of work which showcases their talent and abilities in the visual arts and writing skill
Portfolios include sketchbook, notebooks or contact sheets of photographs. It can be work on a variety of media carried out in school or personal work. Those applying for courses in Fashion, Advertising and Design must carry sketches, design work, mood boards and other art works. Students applying for Media and Mass Communication may bring photographs, articles, dairies and published matter. CDs and Video films/VCDs, if any, should not exceed a duration of 15 minutes.
