Programmes for Graduate Students - Business Economics (Systems)

Business enterprises are increasingly dependent on a strong IT-based resource planning system for day-to-day business in globally competing world. The programmes in Systems equip students with techniques and methods used in managing and implementing information technology systems as an important tool in business.

Students are introduced to contemporary concepts that familiarize them with strategies of quality management, management information systems and other relevant information technologies, including data mining and knowledge management.

The courses introduce students to the key concepts in System Analysis, Computer Networks and Database Management System which encourage students to further explore the domain of systems management. These skills enhance and add sharp dimensions to students’ skills in the area of systems.

Students on successful completion may choose to work in the diverse areas of system analysis, system development, IT application analysis, and MIS managers.

A successful completion of the Professional Certificate Level II is recognised by Wigan & Leigh College, UK as equivalent to their Post Graduate Diploma in Systems.
